About Bitposter

Bitposter was founded in 2013 by Aidan Neill and Jake Kalliath and is backed by VC investment of around £4million. 

The why

They met at London Business School and discovered inefficiencies in Out of Home (OOH) advertising whilst placed on a project at JCDecaux, one of the largest Media Owners globally.

The problem they identified seemed to be solvable and started a journey of building a product that would automate some very labour heavy and manual tasks for the industry. The idea of trading all UK OOH in one place was immediately appealing to two Specialist buyers in the UK. The initial version of the trading platform was built around their needs. 

The journey

In 2016, with 97% of the UK inventory listed on the platform, the platform was opened up to all agencies who would like to buy OOH under a ‘General Marketplace’. 

in 2018, we have 55 signed non-specialist agencies registered on the platform with year on year growth on revenue.
